Awande Dube is a young and emerging multi-disciplinary artist (director , writer , producer, voice actor, lecturer, film & theatre maker) who is self-motivated, with strong leadership skills and passion for the craft.
Awande’s interests include authentic contemporary South African storytelling & immersive practices in theatre, Film & Television. Her prominence as a theatre maker led to her participation in an international directors exchange (hosted by Assitej International) that took place in Germany (2023) which saw an attendance of theatre directors from all over the world. Awande was one of the youngest ‘experts’ in the room sharing on her practice as a director with others from countries like , France , New Zealand , Cuba , Australia , Nigeria , Sweden , Germany , Switzerland , Italy etc.
