Griot, keeper of ancient knowledge, receives a story from the Gods; One ready to be remembered by
the world...
In a land coated in gold, Masenge is born carrying the soul of the Goddess Nomkhubulwane. When the
power inside him begins to bloom, reshaping him into the Goddess, the world responds with violence
never knowing the one they fear is the divine spirit they seek.
A myth that reminds us that Queer identities have always been sacred in African Spirituality
