This semi-autobiographical cabaret will make you laugh, cry, and see your own story through new eyes. HOORT tells the story of Stephanie, the daughter of two pastors, as she searches for her place in the world while navigating her mixed heritage and South Africa's complex history. Through humour, pathos, and a vibrant blend of choral music, ghoema, jazz, and original Afrikaans compositions, she comes to a profound realization: fitting in is one thing, but truly belonging is something else entirely.
